Pika Labs Releases PikaStream 1.0, Bringing Real-Time Video Chat to Any AI Agent

Pika Labs launched the beta of PikaStream 1.0, a new real-time video generation model that powers the first universal video chat skill for AI agents, allowing them to join conversations with a face, voice, memory, and personality. The new capability lets developers plug any compatible agent including those powered by Claude Code, Open Claw, or Pika’s own systems into video calls, primarily via Google Meet. Agents appear as live avatars with synchronized lip movements, natural voice synthesis or cloning, and the ability to respond in real time with roughly 1.5-second end-to-end latency while maintaining up to 30 FPS at 480p on a single H100 GPU
